QA Notes

QA Notes may be added from the Synapse PACS PowerJacket Report tab. This section will describe the workflows from the PowerJacket. Information on how to generate the QA Notes management report may be accessed here.

Users must be granted privilege to view, add, edit, & delete QA notes. QA Notes are stored and displayed within the QA notes PowerJacket section.

Note: Tasks are a privilege based tool. If this section is not visable, contact the System Admin for access.

PowerJacket Workflows

Creating a QA Note

  1. In the PowerJacket Report tab, locate the QA Notes section.
  2. Make a selection from the QA Type drop down list. (The default value is determined by the System Admin within the QA Notes configuration table.)
  3. Optional: Enter text into the Note field. (maximum 255 characters).
  4. Click Save.

Result: The QA Note and details are stored to the QA Notes section.

Editing a QA Note

Note: Editing a QA Note is a privilege. If this section is not visible, contact the System Admin for access.

  1. In the PowerJacket Report tab, locate the QA Notes section.
  2. Select the Edit link for the QA note. (The QA Type and notes will be loaded into the section to edit)
  3. Make appropriate changes.
  4. Click Save.

Result: The QA Note and details are updated and stored to the QA Notes section. *The original Posted By and Posted On values are updated to reflect the editor's name and current date.

Deleting a QA Note

Note: Deleting a QA Note is a privilege. If this section is not visable, contact the System Admin for access.

  1. In the PowerJacket Report tab, locate the QA Notes section.
  2. Select the Delete link for the QA note. (The QA Type and notes will be loaded into the section to edit)
  3. Make appropriate changes. A prompt will display to ask the user to confirm the deletion of the QA note.
  4. Select OK to delete the QA note. Select Cancel to retain the QA note and cancel the deletion action.

Result: If the QA Note is confirmed to be deleted, the entry is removed from the database and no longer display in the QA Notes section.
