Version Notice
This version represents additional features and modifications that have been added since Synapse Communications version 3.1.6.
What’s Updated
- The Home tab within the Synapse Communications Landing page has been updated to display the function boxes. Previously, the Home page displayed a simple black screen within the page area. (F3148)
- The management reports have been moved from the Admin side of the Landing page to the Reports tab. Selecting the Reports tab will display only the links for reports the logged in user has privilege to access. (F3124)
- ED Findings has been updated so users may operate the tool while an exam is in 'Sent' status. Previously, the ED Findings tool would only become available when the exam reached 'Completed' status. (F3142)
- The following fields have been added to the Synapse Communications integrated PACS PowerJacket™ page: Accession number, Exam description, Site ID, Primary Location, & Current Location. (F3132)
- A Help icon has been added to the Synapse Communications Landing page. Located in the upper right corner of the page, selecting the blue icon (with a question mark) will navigate the user to the Help Guide. (F3151)
- The ED Findings section has been updated to display the Findings section above the Response section, so the ED Finding entry is more visible to the radiologist user. (F3144)
- The Synapse Communications integrated PACS PowerJacket page previously only displayed patient's External ID value. The page has been updated to display both an internal and external PID value. If an external PID is available and different from the patient ID value, the patient name and ID values are displayed in this format: Patient Name / Patient ID / Patient External ID. This format is consistent to the ID display on the Study Info tab within Synapse PACS. (D7270)
What’s Removed
- Within the Peer Review worklist, two status options have been removed from the Review Status column drop-down list. The statuses of ‘Ad hoc’ and ‘Saved’ were removed as they were no longer applicable choices. The Peer Review process provides options for radiologists to sign or not proceed with performing a review on a study. Once a peer review has been performed, the status becomes ‘Signed’. (F3037)
Resolutions
- A modality value of ‘NULL’ in Synapse PACS caused the User Privilege table to display an error. A short term solution was to change the modality name within Synapse® PACS SWAT to a valid name, which resolved the error. Now, if the modality name is blank, Synapse Communications will display the modality ID from SWAT. (D7547)
-
The Task report does not display results as expected. The report appears to run, but does not return data. (D7502)
Platform Definition
