Pulse Installation
With Pulse, users can have contextual awareness to the active image viewer without losing visibility of enterprise workflows. Pulse is designed to stay 'in sync' with Synapse PACS by using a TcpListener. Pulse will open automatically when an image is launched from Synapse PACS if the appropriate TcpListener application is installed on the user's machine.

For PACS 4.x, the TcpListener application is called the "Pulse Desktop Tray Application". If the application is not currently installed on the Client machine, you can install the plugin, set up the application, and then configure Synapse PACS (versions 4.2.1 through 4.4.2) to communicate with SynComm. For detailed information, see the SynComm V3 Pulse Integration with PACS 4.x – Client Setup guide.
Note: The PACS Server should already be configured to recognize the Pulse Desktop Tray Application prior to installing the application on the Client machine. If the PACS Server is not recognizing the plugin, contact Fujifilm for support.

For PACS 5.x, the TcpListener application is called the "Pulse Desktop Agent Plugin". If the application is not currently installed on the Client machine, you can install and set up the plugin. For detailed information, see the SynComm V3 Pulse Integration with PACS 5.x – Client Setup guide.
Note: The PACS Server should already be configured to recognize the Pulse plugin prior to installing Pulse on the Client machine. If the PACS Server is not recognizing the plugin, contact Fujifilm for support.
