Tasks
Privileged users can add new tasks, view and edit existing tasks, and perform tasks from the Current Study tab, Tasks tab (for the Task types that are being 'followed' by the user), or from the Task Worklist on the SynComm Landing Page.

- From the Current Study tab, select Add New > Task.
- Select the desired Task.
- Add a note if needed (maximum 255 characters).
- Select a Due Date and/or an Assigned To individual if needed.
- Click Create.
The task is added to the Current Study tab, and if the Task type is being 'followed' but the user, then the Task tab number is updated and lists the new task. The task is also added to the Task Worklist within the SynComm Landing.

- Locate the desired task and click Edit.

- Review the details and add or edit any of the optional fields:
- Notes
- Due Date
- Assigned To
- Click Update.
The task details (Task History and Notes) are updated.

- Locate the desired task and click Perform Task.

- Enter the appropriate information depending on the task.
- Click Save.
The task details are updated, and the icon on the Current Study tab is updated to display with a checkmark.
