UF General
The General tab of the Urgent Findings is used to set the method of distributing Urgent Findings – via email, SMS text message, or voice – to the staff and referring physicians. Distribution of the Findings is optional. All Findings added to SynComm are stored and accessible via the Urgent Findings Worklist, Pulse, and via management reports. In addition, a custom message can be created to display on the Urgent Findings Worklist when no Urgent Findings are associated with the filter parameters are found.
Method of Distribution
From this table, "Administrator"-type users can determine whether email, SMS messaging, and voice will be utilized as a method of distribution. The Distribution numbers and email addresses are stored for each staff member at Users > User List.

The Active column indicates the status of the distribution method (Active - Yes; Inactive - No with the text in the row colored red). In addition, the Activate/Deactivate column displays the appropriate action button (Activate or Deactivate) that can be used to toggle the Active status.
To deactivate an active method, click the icon. Click OK to the prompt pop-up.
To activate a deactivated method, click the icon. Click OK to the prompt pop-up.
Additional Settings
The Additional Settings section is used to create and store a custom message to display on the Urgent Findings Worklist when no Urgent Findings have been stored for the selected study.

Enter desired message in the Additional Settings text field. Click Save Settings.
